After a brief foray out to Hoppegarten race course last year, the festival is coming home, back to Berlin! Now in its fourth year, it will be held in Berlin’s Westend district, the festival’s new home in the heart of the city. Berlin’s Olympic Stadium and Olympic Park are steeped in tradition, offer perfect local public connections, and are tried and tested major event venues. Lollapalooza will bedazzle its visitors and rock the Olympic site as it has never been rocked before.

Today we are pleased to confirm the appearance of The Weeknd, who recently won a Grammy and will play his only 2018 European show at Lollapalooza. Few artists have been able to play their way into the hearts of fans, the accolades of critics, and the charts worldwide like this Canadian musician has lately. From Hit Machine to Man-Machine: festival-goers will be captivated by electronic music pioneers Kraftwerk and their Kraftwerk 3D audio-visual show.

US bands Imagine Dragons and The National will play their only festival shows in Germany this year at Lollapalooza Berlin. Both are outstanding live bands and there can be hardly anyone who has not at least once heard Imagine Dragons’ ‘Radioactive’ and ‘Thunder’ in recent years. The National have just collected a Grammy for their latest masterpiece ‘Sleep Well Beast’.

Casper’s recent sold-out tour proved his qualities as a performer to bank on. For Oasis mastermind Liam Gallagher too, raising a collective racket is the order of the day. Confetti cannons, fog machines, pyrotechnics and controls pushed to the limit – it’s all part of the fun at Lollapalooza. The crème de la crème of the EDM and dance scene, artists like David Guetta, Kygo, Armin Van Buuren and Showtek, will get the Olympic Stadium crowd fired up.

With her performance at the Glastonbury Festival last year, more than a billion YouTube views and five Brit Award nominations, Dua Lipa is now, without doubt, one of the world’s greatest pop stars. She’ll be enhancing a line-up that also includes Freundeskreis, Ben Howard, Rag’n’Bone Man, Friendly Fires, Years & Years, Lewis Capaldi, The Wombats and Jorja Smith.

Lollapalooza has always represented musical diversity, so there’ll be no lack of urban beats this year. RAF Camora & Bonez MC, Rin and SXTN are just some of the rap and hip-hop artists who’ll be appearing!
